Berenice Marlohe
Berenice Lim Marlohe (born in Paris) is a French Actress. Her most well-known role was as the anti-heroine Bond Girl Severine as seen in Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She appeared in the French comedy Un bonheur n'arrive never alone with Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. Additionally, she is a brand ambassador of Omega Watches. Berenice is French-Chinese, and Cambodian birthplace to Paris France, May 19th 1979. She belongs to an French and Chinese middle class family. Her mother is a former teacher and her father is medical doctor. While growing up, in Paris the passion for art grew, and she spent the majority of her youth playing piano or drawing. Painting and music were both passions of hers, and both influenced her to pursue her dream and make a career. After attending a course by Jack Waltzer. After attending a workshop by the legendary Jack Waltzer, she was passionate about acting. Following this discovery she completed the 10 years of her studies at the famous Paris Conservatory. After she graduated leaving school beginning to apply for roles in movies. Her first one in The Discordance (2007) came quickly soon after. Early on in her professional career it was difficult to secure roles that would fit the character she wanted to portray. His influence is strong within the business. Most filmmakers and film companies that she approached were uninterested for absence of knowledge.
